Come by and be a part of San Antonio's Railroad History!!!

The newly restored Union Pacific "BigBoy" steam locomotive #4014 will be on display here in San Antonio on an adjacent track to the former Southern Pacific "Mikado" steam locomotive #794 near the historic Southern Pacific Sunset Station.

When was the last time you were able to see two steam locomotives parked side by side in downtown San Antonio?  Maybe back when 794 was still running in the mid-1950s.

Although you will not be able to climb aboard into the cab of the BigBoy (for safety reasons), we will have the cab of San Antonio's Steam Locomotive open for you to climb aboard and tour.
