This Texas Lady is long overdue for her return home and that is what the Friends of the SA&AP 60 want to do.  However, there is more. Not only do we want to bring her home, but also we would like to get her operationally restored and thus allowing her to proudly display her part as San Antonio’s railroad heritage and be the last surviving ambassador of the SA&AP railway.

We are in process of making this a reality, however, it is a slow process. There will be a lot of logistics to cover in order for this to happen. We are systematically laying out the process and also actively communicating with those who are involved in the process.
